The Fostering Network is working with the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) in the following areas:

  • The Fostering Network chief executive Robert Tapsfield sits on the Board of the CWDC.
  • We are a member of the expert reference group that is producing the Training, Support and Development Standards for Foster Care.
  • Throughout 2007 and beyond we will be providing training, events and information around the CWDC's work and what it means to you, as well as resources to support the development of your professional skills in key areas.
  • We are also continuing to incorporate your changing needs into the ongoing development of our training courses and supporting materials such as publications and resources.
