We are continually developing new ways for our members to raise
their voices and be effective. In England, this work includes:
- helping foster carers to form foster care
associations
- building a network of foster care association forums, to help
foster carers talk to each other about issues that affect them
- developing closer communication links with foster carers, and
being on-hand to help them with specific queries
- giving presentations to existing foster care associations on a
whole range of fostering issues, such as long-term fostering
- developing the Fostering Network's input into current thinking
on fostering.
