Fostering: Recognise the qualities you've got

The Fostering Network with funding from the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) has produced a range of promotional materials including an image library for fostering services in England to customise and use to support their work raising the profile of fostering and recruiting more foster carers in their area. These are available to download from the members' area of our website.

FOSTERING: recognise the qualities you've got dramatises the everyday, normal qualities that many people already have and reveal them to be precisely the qualities that make ideal foster carers. The campaign uses a variety of simple and eye catching portrait shots of foster carers in everyday environments to accentuate foster carers’ positive qualities in a fun, memorable and engaging way.

The materials were launched during Foster Care Fortnight 2008 and fostering services are encouraged to customise and use the materials to support their local activity.

Fostering services can customise with their own logos and contact details and arrange their own print and distribution.
