Support care at the World Forum for Child Welfare

Philippa Williams will be co-presenting a workshop with Barnardos about Support Care at the World Forum for Child Welfare which is being held in the UK this year (in Cardiff) from 29 September to 1 October. The theme this year is "early intervention and prevention". This is a great opportunity to get the Support Care message round the world!

The WorldForum is the non-governmental Global Leadership Summit for Child Welfare, an annual conference co-hosted by the IFCW (International Forum for Child Welfare), and a member of the IFCW. The forum aims to bring together leaders from six continents, and attracts both smaller child welfare NGO's and larger well established organisations. The conference will enable delegates to discuss the rights and welfare of children and young people on a global scale, and also network and build mutually beneficial relationships.

Last year, WorldForum 2007 brought delegates from around the world together in New Delhi and the previous year in Canada delegates from 34 different countries attended. (Full list of previous World Forums.)
