New placements
Whether it is your first placement or you are an experienced foster carer, welcoming a new child to your home can be nerve-wracking. Each child brings their own challenges and rewards and provides a different experience of being a foster carer. You might be taking on a child who is older or younger than those that you have fostered before or perhaps a young parent with a child of their own.
Members of the Fostering Network log in here for more information and resources on issues that come with taking on a new placement, and access to peer to peer support in our online community.
