Fostering Network’s EDM on support for young people leaving care

Helen Southworth MP has put down an 'early day motion' (a statement of support for an issue) on behalf of the Fostering Network calling on the government to give more support to young people to make a successful transition to adult living including the ability to stay with their former foster carers between the ages of 18 and 21.

Over 100 MPs have already signed up but we are keen to keep the ball rolling by getting as many MPs as possible to sign up. If you could spare 5 minutes to send a letter asking your MP to sign our EDM it will help put pressure on the Government for action in advance of the debates in the House of Commons on the Children and Young Persons Bill. If you don’t know who your MP is, you can use the FindYourMP website to find out.
