Move On Up is a DfES funded project that offers organisations a positive, practical approach and resources to encourage people to brush up their English and maths skills and get national qualifications. It offers foster care organisations a way of encouraging foster carers to join the thousands of adults who are recognising the benefits of improving their skills and getting qualified.
People who have the internet can learn independently in their own homes on the Move On Learner Route at www.move-on.org.uk, find their nearest test centre and take the one hour literacy or one and a quarter hour numeracy test, either on screen or on paper.
