Following on from an exploratory meeting the Fostering Network has decided to hold a quarterly meeting for Fostering Panel Chairs to:
The first meeting will be held at the Fostering Network's London office on 87 Blackfriars Road, SE1 8HA on Tuesday 25th November 2008 from 11.30 am - 12.30 pm.
If you would like to attend this meeting and you are a fostering panel chair in London or the South East region, then please contact candice.williams@fostering.net.
If you are unable to attend this meeting but would be interested in future attendance then do let us know.
If you are a fostering panel chair in another region of England and would be interested in attending a meeting in your region, then please let us know by sending us your name, email address and the name of the fostering agency whose Fostering Panel you chair.
The Fostering Network has received Big Lottery funding to run a new project called Leading Our Lives. The project will enable fostered children, care leavers and sons and daughters of foster carers to have a genuine voice in their own future and in services affecting them.
