Sons and daughters' week

Sons and Daughters’ Week is an annual campaign that can take place any week in October to celebrate the role that the sons and daughters of foster carers play in the fostering family.

It is a great chance to recognise and reward everything that these young people do to improve the foster care experience for those children and young people living with them. Fostering has a huge impact on the whole household and it is essential that this is both recognised and celebrated.

As part of this year's Sons and Daughters week, we have been running a blogging competition for sons and daughters of foster carers to tell everyone how they feel about being part of a fostering family

Our first winner is Ruby, age 6, who has won a £25 Early Learning Centre vouncher
