Leading Our Lives

In 2007 the Fostering Network was awarded Big Lottery funding to run an innovative national project called Leading Our Lives.

The project aims to enable young people in England who are or have been in care, or who are part of a family that fosters, to have a genuine voice in discussions about their own future and about services affecting them.

The project team includes four young people's participation workers with experience of care or of being part of fostering families, as well as sessional workers in London and the North East of England.
