Bungee jumpers wanted to raise funds
The Fostering Network Northern Ireland’s Big Bungee Jump to raise funds for its work with foster families and the children they care for will now take place on Saturday 17 July.
A group of up to 65 thrill-seekers will leap from over 60 feet in Custom House Square, Belfast, in an attempt to raise more than £6,000.
Lorna Patterson, fundraising and events officer at the Fostering Network Northern Ireland, said: “We’re very excited as this is the first ever bungee jump for the Fostering Network.
“Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or someone who has always thought of making the leap but never had the courage, why not sign up to raise money to support foster families and the children in their care?”
Registration is £60 and each participant will need to raise at least £100 sponsorship. To book your place email lorna.patterson@fostering.net or call 028 9070 5056.
