Northern Ireland’s Foster Carers of the Year are to be named this Friday at the Fostering Network’s Hearts of Diamonds ball.

The ball will be held at Galgorm Manor, Ballymena on Friday 21 May, as part of the Fostering Network’s national awareness campaign, Foster Care Fortnight (17 to 30 May). With the strapline Do you have the skills to foster?  the campaign encourages people to consider a career in fostering and focus on the personal and professional skills that a foster carer needs.
