Tickets are available for the last few spaces at the Fostering Network’s annual conference this October.

Forty-four children and young people living with foster families in south-east Northern Ireland have received certificates of achievement at an event organised by the Fostering Network.

The Northern Ireland Executive has welcomed the issue of revised regional guidance for social workers and foster carers who look after young people after the age of 18, providing them with up to date and relevant information that will enable them to support and plan effectively for those in their care.

The Fostering Network is calling on the fearless and the brave during Foster Care Fortnight to sign up to experience the ‘ultimate adrenaline rush’ in an effort to raise funds for its work with foster families and children in foster care in Northern Ireland.

Sharon and Marty Weir, from Ballymena, have been named as Northern Ireland’s Foster Carers of the Year at the Fostering Network’s Hearts of Diamonds ball.

Northern Ireland’s Foster Carers of the Year are to be named this Friday at the Fostering Network’s Hearts of Diamonds ball.

The ball will be held at Galgorm Manor, Ballymena on Friday 21 May, as part of the Fostering Network’s national awareness campaign, Foster Care Fortnight (17 to 30 May). With the strapline Do you have the skills to foster?  the campaign encourages people to consider a career in fostering and focus on the personal and professional skills that a foster carer needs.

Tickets are now on sale for the Fostering Network Northern Ireland’s annual charity ball this May.

The Fostering Network Northern Ireland’s Big Bungee Jump to raise funds for its work with foster families and the children they care for will now take place on Saturday 17 July.
