Family and friends
The Fostering Network's working group has worked with the Association of Directors of Social Work (ADSW) to produce a report on friends and family as carers.
There is significant variation in the approaches to assessing, supporting and paying family or friends who provide care for children across Scotland. To date there has been little attention given to some of the issues behind the variations.
