The children we help come from all different backgrounds and all age groups, and they each have their own needs in respect of race, culture, religion, disability and language. We are looking for carers from all ethnicities and backgrounds to become carers to undertake bridging to adoption, medium or long-term fostering, support care for older children and siblings or provide short breaks for disabled children.

There is an opportunity to progress through four different levels in fostering entitled the ‘Payment for Skills’ scheme which gives foster carers the chance to be acknowledged for their skills and identify areas for development. Each new level pays an allowance, additional to the basic fostering allowance for each child or young person living in the foster home. We are able to pay additional financial packages to anyone who is interested in fostering a child aged 11 years or more.

To find out more about becoming a foster carer, please contact us for an informal chat or to request an information pack.
