We are recruiting carers for all age groups 0-18.  This includes:

  • Short term foster carers (looking after children temporarily from a few days to a couple of years).
  • Respite carers (provides short term relief for familes)
  • Permanent foster carers (where children remain in the care of the foster carers until they reach adulthood)
  • Enhanced foster carers (for children aged 12 and over who have been significantly affected by the diffficulties in their lives)
  • Intensive foster carers (look after our most vulnerable and challenging children/young people where carers with significant experience provide a stable and safe environment.)
  • We recruit carers from all walks of life and with different experiences of caring for children whether that be caring for their own children or if they have worked in the field of child care.
  • We take care to ensure that children are placed with carers who have the right experience and environment for them.

We give all of our foster carers a high level of support and training is ongoing.  Carers are assigned their own support worker who will be able to offer support and advice through regular visits and telephone contact.  We link new carers in with an experienced foster carer who can provide informal support.  There are also opportunities to meet other carers at our regular training sessions.

We pay up to £580 per week per child and we provide financial support to get you started.
