Anglia Fostering Agency is founded and owned by three Social Work Professionals and exists to provide fostering services to Local Authorities in the East of England.

Our Mission Statement is: “Anglia Fostering Agency aims to provide Quality care with Integrity and Respect.”

We aim to provide care to children locally, to keep them in touch with their families, friends and communities.

The young people we care for need a home which can provide stability and consistency, which is flexible enough to understand and cope with the behaviour they may display and which is resilient enough to not give up and help a child reach their full potential.

We are looking for both experienced and new foster carers from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures, religions and social groups.

We are particularly looking for carers for teenagers, sibling groups and parent and child placements.

Our commitment to you - we will provide:

• Genuine 24 hours a day, 7 days a week support from experienced and qualified staff
• Regular supervision visits, at least monthly and frequent telephone support
• Quality foundation training alongside your assessment.
• Ongoing training to develop your knowledge and childcare skills leading to the Children’s Workforce Development Council certificate and beyond
• Regular support groups local to your area as well as social events during the year
• A comprehensive allowance to cover all your day to day costs to enable you to view fostering as a career.

We provide services to 65 authorities. Our success is due largely to its founder directors, Deborah & Paul, whos hands on approach to management retains an enthusiasm for high quality social work, delivering the required outcomes. We recognise that each child has individual needs and choices. Our proactive approach ensures a safe & effective standard for children in care achieving 3 outstanding Ofsted awards. We care for the most challenging children, providing a healthy & fulfilling lifestyle achieved via staff and carers working together and the training & support we provide to all.

Applications welcomed from experienced or prospective foster carers from the military community either in or moving to overseas locations. We particularly welcome applications from Foreign and Commonwealth personnel within the military community.
