Following the successful launch of the first Fostering Network ball in 2007 and due to popular demand, we have decided to make it an annual event for all to enjoy. The ball will also mark the second year of the Fostering Network's Foster Carer of the Year award. This is a tribute award celebrating the work of foster carers, where we hear wonderful testimonies given by family and friends to these dedicated people.
This is your chance to get the glad rags on! We hope that the event will attract more foster carers, their families and friends and the many people who tell us of their admiration for foster families. Improving and shaping the lives of children in foster care is our daily goal and supporting the Fostering Network ball is one way you can help.
All money raised through this event will go directly towards our work in information and advice services which assists and supports foster carers to provide the best possible care for over 1274 fostered children in the province.
