This year the Fostering Network's flagship UK conference will explore the challenges faced by foster carers, consider research about what works and examine how fostering services can best support and assist foster carers to transform the lives of the children they foster. It will particularly focus on the challenges of short term fostering placements and placements aimed at helping the child or young person to return home or move on to independence.
