Advice and Mediation Worker, North East Region
24 hours per week, £26,549 to £32,186 pro rata
The Fostering Network is seeking an Advice and Mediation Worker in the North East (Barnardos, Cumbria, South Tyneside, Durham, Sunderland, Gateshead, Newcastle) to deliver a service for these local authorities, which provides an independent source of advice, guidance, support and mediation to foster carers and employees of the authorities which purchase the service; to facilitate conciliation meetings between carers and agencies, and to advise agencies on their policies and procedures regarding foster care management and support.

Library Volunteers - London and Glasgow
The Fostering Network needs volunteers to help run its library and information services at its offices in London and Glasgow.
The work is unpaid but provides excellent experience in library and information systems in a major UK childcare charity, and makes a real positive difference to the lives of foster carers and fostered children throughout the UK.
