Senior Media Officer, London

The Fostering Network is seeking a senior media officer to work with the media and communications manager in consultation with the senior managers including the chief executive to increase the awareness of foster care and the profile of the Fostering Network via media relations, public awareness campaigns, and orporate communications and events.

Sessional Workers and Assistant Sessional Workers, London and North East Region

The Fostering Network is looking to recruit young people between the ages of 18-25 in the Greater London area and the north of England as sessional workers, and between the ages of 16-25 as assistant sessional workers to work alongside the project workers in the young people’s team for the leading our lives project.

Fundraising Officer, London

18 hours per week
£21,803 to £26,549 plus £3237 London Weighting pro rata

The Fostering Network is seeking a fundraising officer to assist in developing the fundraising programme and increasing voluntary income for the organisation, to raise voluntary funding for the Fostering Network’s core functions, projects and other activities, taking particular responsibility for applications to small and medium-sized trusts and charitable foundations, to contribute to the meeting of agreed fundraising targets, and to provide administrative support to the fundraising team.

Library Volunteers - London and Glasgow

The Fostering Network needs volunteers to help run its library and information services at its offices in London and Glasgow.

The work is unpaid but provides excellent experience in library and information systems in a major UK childcare charity, and makes a real positive difference to the lives of foster carers and fostered children throughout the UK.
