Your support helped change the law - now please help make this change a reality by supporting our work with a donation.
After six years of campaigning, the ammendment to the Children and Families Bill in England was passed, thanks to the support of our Don't Move Me Campaign. Young people can stay with their foster families until they are 21 instead of being forced to leave home before they are 18.
Right now, the lives of thousands of children in foster care, and the thousands more who will come into care, just got that little bit easier thanks to our supporters.
But the work doesn’t stop there. We need your support more than ever. We have to make sure that fostering services, local authorities, social workers, foster carers and fostered children in England understand what this change means and the difference it will make to everyone’s lives. And crucially, we still have to make this happen in Wales and Scotland.
Please help us carry on our work supporting everyone in fostering, from giving advice and information through our helpline service to campaigning to make sure every fostered young person in the UK is allowed to stay with their family until they are at least 21 as a matter of law.
*We are updating our donation pages, so for now you will be directed to a Justgiving page we have set up to make your donation.
